Tiny copper wire bird's nest with freshwater pearl eggs

A tiny birds nest made of antiqued copper wire with freshwater pearl eggs becomes a pin.

I created this piece for a jewelry challenge on a site with the theme "New Beginning".

Since I love birds and all things natural, this is what I came up with.

I actually do love it and secretly hope it doesn't sell.

Oh, Zoraida, what an exquisite brooch. The nest looks almost real, and I LOVE how even the fastener looks like part of the nest.

Wonderful - and I think the only way to keep it from selling is by not letting anyone see it!

I did like this brooch so much I just made 2 similar (but not exact) birds' nest brooches - just in case it does get sold.
