A Study of Vessels: Vessel Number Two

This is my second vessel.

I spent a little time coiling on this one, unlike my first one. The coiling isn't perfect but I learned a few things in the process so that's a good thing.

I wanted to see if I could round the lid off this time - which I managed to pull off.

I am encouraged by Mary Tucker's vessels despite my modest beginnings, so I will continue to experiment and work towards refinement.

Tiny wire vessel

Love the intricate details - the tiny, curvy latch is marvelous!

Love it!

I truly love your tiny vessel. In fact, I love all your wire work.

These tiny vessels somehow seem very old and familiar. Some ancient memory is stirred by them.

Beautiful, intricate work!

Thank you for your comment, Zoraida. :) I have had great fun experimenting with these vessels and the ideas that spring from them as I am in the process of creating - such as the wire bead (also shared here). I love what you said about how they whisper of ancient times. :)
