Amy's Steampunky Necklace

by Amy Smith
(Texas City, Texas, USA)

I had some old parts around the house that came out of an old typewriter and I had purchased some random hardware and steampunk watch type parts on Ebay. I just put a few of the elements together and came up with this necklace.

I like the fact that the little pieces move when you wear it since I attached the small gears, etc...with jump rings. I am just getting started but think this is incredibly fun to play with! I would welcome all comments and suggestions at how to make better steampunk jewelry.

Thank you!

It's pretty, unique, and interesting. What more could anyone want (unless they're only into pastels)?

Great job! Excellent idea, way to think outside the box. Especially during this time of going "green" it should be a hot item.
