Angel of Hope domino art pendant by Sandy Forrest-Hartman
I used a vintage bakelite domino, an angel stamp, some wire and a couple of lampwork beads to create this pendant.
It was published in Country Lifestyle Magazine a couple of years ago.
I've been using dominoes of every kind to create pendants for 9 years now! My work has been featured on HGTV, Fox News in Houston and in several publications.
Rubber Stamper Madness will be running a feature story on my work in their Summer 2011 issue.
Having attended Ranger U a few years ago, I am certified in embossing powders and alcohol inks, which were used to create this lovely art pendant.
I make at least 50 pieces at a time and there are about 8 to 10 steps in creating them. I always start by drilling holes in the dominoes and then wash them off before I begin my inking techniques.
