Amethyst and aqua terra jasper necklace

Asymmetrical sterling silver necklace with marquise amethyst, faceted disk and rectangular amethysts, and an aqua terra jasper disk. It's a bit different for me - I'm definitely a "centered" sort of girl - as far as the jewelry ideas go - I like the different sizes, shapes, and colors.

There is another faceted amethyst hang for the extender chain inthe back - acting as a weight to hold it in place.

Asymmetry and color

Hi Pat,

You're right, it's tough to work against a natural tendency toward symmetrical design. I try to make myself use symmetry as a last design resort - but sometimes it's a struggle!

I love purples and aquas together - great color choice! :o)
