A masterpiece in Brazilian emeralds, labradorite, opal and malachite/azurite

A masterpiece in Brazilian emeralds, labradorite, opal and malachite/azurite

This beaded collar is created from Brazilian emeralds, labradorite, opal and malachite / azurite.

I began with the emeralds, which I had been looking at for about 5 years, wondering what to do with them. I glued them to Lacy's stiff stuff, and began bezeling them with seed beads.

Next came the other stones, which I also bezeled. I had no plan in mind, just kept adding stones, and filling in with beads, until I was pleased with the result.

At the end, I added the fringe, and backed it all with ultrasuede for comfort.
