Note from Rena: This incredible one-of-a-kind cuff bracelet was made for me by my dear friend Carolina Gonzalez.

I can't begin to imagine how many hours of designing, hand stitching, and bead embroidering went into the creation of this piece.

It's very comfortable to wear, because it's lined with a smooth layer of navy blue silk. I can also tie it to the perfect fit using the turquoise-colored ribbons that serve as the fastening.

Regarding another bracelet Carolina made in a style similar to this one, she said:

"I love encrusted, hyper-baroque pieces; they take time, patience, skills and, in many ways, they are constructed like a painting. This kind of pieces can transform the simplest outfit into a queen’s look! They’re decadent, luxurious and though the techniques used can be centuries old, this collages have a very modern appeal."

I think that also sums up the lovely, unique artistry and style of my own ribbon cuff bracelet by Carolina!
