Caught in the Net necklace

I used to get very frustrated when my Nymo (and other threads) would get tangled.

I do condition and stretch my thread prior to use, but was still having trouble when working with more than a yard and I hate to use bits of thread.

For my new design I use about 4 yards.

I found that if I cut off about 3 inches on both of the ends after I stretch my thread it solves that problem.

Simple fix!

Hm, I really never did like the stretchiness of nymo type threads. Silamide doesn't have that stretchiness. On the other hand, if you like the glide of nymo you probably won't care much for silamide.

Nice we have all these choices, though, eh?

Oh, I've never heard of that. I'm puzzled as to how it really would work, but I'm game to try on my next peice. Here's looking forward to it, I have one waiting for me.
