Grosgrain ribbon makes a lovely backing for a gem, seed beads and rhinestones Rhinestones and seed beads cluster around the green agate

It started when I finished wrapping the dark green double sided grosgrain ribbon around the bangle.

I then felt it needed something more to really 'spark' things up.

I added the green agate as a center piece, and worked my way out with silver, yellow and gold rhinestones.

The finishing touches were the seed beads randomly spread in between the rhinestones.

Great bracelet - great jewelry workshop project!

Great design idea! The ribbon gives the bracelet a nice, softer look - while the beads shine and sparkle with color.

I could see this as a really fun jewelry workshop / party project, especially for teen or pre-teen girls.
