Black fuschia and pearl choker with flower Swarovski crystal

by Mendi
(Cordova, TN, USA)

Black, fuchsia and pearl choker with Swarovski bicone and fuchsia flower pendant crystal and black chain. It also has small black flower Swarovski crystals.

I just recently started using memory wire. Previously I was rather baffled by what to do with memory wire and preferred the wire wrapping technique. After I did a couple pieces with memory wire I was just giddy with the possibilities. If my hands and arms are hurting but I have the desire to create this is an easy way to make something fun and unique!

This piece has Black, Fuchsia, and creamy pearl beads and to put the icing on the cake I have a cute fuchsia swarovski flower pendant! I made a large flower as the center piece for this with a large cream colored acrylic flower, swarovski bicone crystal, and vintaj black flower bead cap! Added touches that make this piece stand out are the small pieces of black chain and a few small black swarovski flower crystals. This piece inspired a couple of others!

This is beautiful work. I've used memory wire for bracelets but I've never tried necklaces. These are inspirational!

New Ideas
by: Mendi

I was so excited after I finished the first one and they look even better on! It's great for people who have trouble with clasps and it allows for different design ideas like the looped chain hanging down which just wouldnt look the same on a regular necklace.

I highly recommend trying it and you can even buy packs of memory wire that have sizes for 1. Necklaces (chokers) 2. Bracelets 3. Hoop earrings and 4. Rings

I Need Help
by: Pam

I have made one or two bracelets with memory wire. I would love to make more, especially chokers but finishing off the ends is a challenge for me. It's so hard to bend and do something so that it doesn't scratch. Any suggestions??

Memory Wire Ends

You can buy memory wire bead caps that you glue on, they come in different sizes and colors. This way you don't have to try to bend the end, which is difficult. LOVE these memory wire necklaces, always wanted to make some.

I used to have alot of trouble bending the ends into a loop also. I figured out a way to do it the same every time, but its something hard to explain! maybe I should upload a video of it hehe
