Blue Jade and Sterling Silver Hooks by sarah berries

I hand-shaped and hammered these sterling silver earrings from 20 gauge wire. The focal is a beautiful blue Jade bead.

Blue Jade is peaceful and passive energy source. Helps people who meditate to relax and gain an inner serenity. A quiet teacher of patience and slow, steady progress. It is a wonderful stone to give to people who feel restricted or overcome by situations beyond their control.

Approximately 1.5" long and just over 1.25" across.

I really love how striking these earrings are. The concept is very simple, yet the effect is very bold and lovely.

How do the flat ends on your earrings go through the ear? I would have a hard time threading them through my earlobe.

Hello!

The wire is only a 20 gauge thickness, so the ends slip right through a normal pierced ear. =)

Thanks you, Jacky, so much for your kind comments! I'm working to get more pieces finished... but I do have that "day job" to consider! ;-)

April: Thank you!!! Placing my name on the photo is very simple... I just use the "Paint" program and add the words there. (If you are in the folder with your pics, right click on the pic you want to edit and you should have an option to "Open With" and then the menu from there will include the "Paint" option.)
