This design is our top-of-the-line product created especially for the bride with the dream of a very elegant seaside wedding.

We wanted to add a very high-end design to our Beach Wedding Collection and the Bridal Elegance materials accomplished that goal.

Along with the sandals (which are sold as a pair) we also created a matching double-strand bracelet and a pair of earrings.

Together, the pieces all match and put the finishing touch to the bride's wedding day attire.

To handcraft this pair of beaded foot jewelry, we start with a length of .7mm Stretch Magic elastic cord.

We use the thickest cord we can use that will fit inside the beads we use. This helps make the sandal strong enough to withstand stretching.

Starting with very small seed beads for the "behind the toe" portion of the sandal, we begin the pattern using 4mm Swarovski pearls, 4mm bright silver Heishi spacers, 4mm Swarovsi crystals and 6mm Swarovski pearls.

The medallion is a cream pearl surrounded by tiny rhinestones trimmed with either gold or silver.

This design is available with silver or gold accents (the Heishi spacers and the medallion).

Each pair is a custom order because we handcraft them according to shoe size. This assures a comfortable, perfect fit.

Our Beach Wedding Collection continues to grow as we add new designs frequently.

Additional images shown are Forever Pearls, Elegant Evening, Creme de Menthe (for the bridesmaids) and Heavenly Glow.

What better footwear for a wedding in the sand than barefoot sandals?

I love these!

Such pretty wedding footwear - and fun to wear later too.

Thank you for sharing your process of creating them - I wouldn't have thought about the need to use smaller beads under the toe, but it definitely makes good sense for comfort!

Perfect Idea for a beach wedding!

Or just a trip to the beach! I love these - and this is a vintage idea - When I was a teen back in the 70's, I remember making Barefoot Sandals in San Francisco. Ours were not nearly as nice, but your article sparked some sweet memories of the fun my friends and I had in our early creativity!
