Chinese Lantern Earring

by Suzan Evans
(Lakefield, On, Canada)

I was sitting in my sunporch soaking up the sun, making jewellery. I was just getting started in the business and I was wondering what I was going to do with the beads in front of me.

Before too long I had designed what I call my Chinese Lantern. I use a glass stone with flowers engraved inside it, a metal filigree spacer and swarosvki crystals.

I have also made a small one for children.

I would wear these! They're like a harbinger of Spring.

Your sunporch sounds like a wonderful place for creating. :o)
