Several weeks ago I made a coiled copper wire bracelet as an example for a proposed class. It was a very nice piece all by itself but what if I embellished it with some Czech beads?
The beads I chose were a color combination of cantaloupe and lemon in fire polished rounds. They are bright and cheerful and go well with the color of the copper.
Little did I know what a time consuming pain this project would turn out to be. But I did it any way and it is another design that I'll not do again.
The first step was to coil the copper wire and make a bracelet with a self clasp. Easily done.
However, the last step was very tedious. The beads were attached one at a time with 24ga wire wrapped around the intersections where two coil loops cross.
It is lovely to look at but definitely one of a kind.
