I usually make jewellery with blues and greens and make a lot of jewellery using chain and wire.

I bought these red and green glass beads to experiment. I had nothing planned at the time.

I found 'by accident' in my stash of beads these green teardrop czech beads.

The silver rose centre piece was the finishing touch.

It's amazing how inspiring it can be to work with something that's outside of our usual favorites.

I love this necklace, and the contrast of the solid beads against the openwork rose pendant.

BTW - I couldn't find a link for you anywhere, but I'll be glad to add it up above next to your name, if you let me know what it is. :o)

I really like this necklace. Isn't it cool when you "accidently" find the right beads? Sometimes I find that beads I've had laying around forever are suddenly perfect for the project I'm working on - I love when that happens!
