Copper is shaped and curled into cone shaped flowers. They are all shaped by hand.
I enameled the outer portion in a blend of chartreuse, bitter and grass green. The inner portion of the cone is orange.
The stamens are fine silver.
The ear wires are handcrafted of 20 gauge sterling silver. They have been oxidized to add depth.
Total length: a bit over 2-1/8". Enameled portion: 5/8" at the widest lower portion.
All Earrings worn by models are my prototypes which I do not sell.
Enameling is fusing glass to metal, in this case copper. Each piece is fired multiple times including the back.
