Once I found I could freeform wire onto a bracelet frame, why not swirl it for a necklace. Using 18 gauge wire (again from the garage's stash of old electrical wire), I formed it with my bare hands, round nose pliers, various pens and markers.
Always check that ALL your beads will fit on the wire before starting a project. . . it will shortcut weepy frustration later on.
The loops were carefully hammered for dimension, then the piece was oxidized, buffed and polished.
Lastly, the front piece was attached to some purchased chain.
Also, get to show off a more polished photo that a friend helped me with this morning. Used the free photo editing site Picnik to auto fix and add text. There's also lots of other goodies to play with on the site - many are free, but for a small monthly fee, you get access to lots of premium tools.
