Dancing in the Dark

by Mallori
(Illinois)

This piece came to me one day after (literally) having a vision of
a piece like this. I decided to name it "dancing in the dark" after
a song title by a rather famous artist that I am sure you have all
heard of...Lady Gaga. This song has been an inspiration to me,
and there for, this piece was born.

Made from Swarvoski crystals...Fire Polished Czech glass beads,
silver chain, metal charms, and a metal toggle clasp. This piece has
so much to look at you will find your eyes "dancing in the dark."

Loving this piece and the name too.

Thank you!!

Thank you so much, I am sorta new at this whole jewelry making business. But that is what it has become for me. I started about a year ago, and made a piece as a hobby...the feedback was amazing so I started making more, and even had people request pieces for certain occasions. I now have begun down the road of business with my mom, who makes great polyclay pieces..and I am even building a website as we speak. I have found something as a stay at home mom of two, for which I love to do and would love to share that with the world. Again, thank you for the nice comment, greatly appreciated...means the world to me!!!

Makes Eyes Dance
by: Patti

What a great name for this piece of jewelry.

It really does make my eyes dance and flit here and there.

Beautiful!

great necklace - wrong songwriter
by: Anonymous

Your necklace is darling, but Bruce Springsteen wrote and sung Dancing in the Dark! It's the best song ever.

Hope I did not offend... :(
by: Mallori

I did not want to copy the title of her song ("Dance in the Dark"), so I changed it just a bit...not actually knowing he made a song by that title.

I think this is a lovely necklace - and I don't see how Bruce Springsteen could be anything but honored if he thought this piece was named after his song (even though, as you say, it wasn't). :)

Very nice combination of elements in this necklace!
