If a bracelet can be made, why not a doll necklace? These are necklaces that even Barbie would love to own. They can also be sized for American Girl Dolls.

These little necklaces are designed so they will not come apart. There is no jump ring or crimp.

I used a lobster clasp, 30 gauge wire, seed beads, and 2-8 mil sized beads. No two necklaces are alike.

What lucky Barbies and American Girl dolls, getting to wear designer jewelry just their size!

What a neat idea. And such a great way to use tiny bits of leftovers - while bringing a smile to a little girl's face at the same time. Fun!

An American Girl necklace is about 6 1/2 to 7 1/2" (inches) with lobster clasp and a Barbie doll necklace comes out to be 4 to 4 1/2" (inches).

I make jewelry for my own Barbie - She's my muse - and she sits on my work bench and even shows up in my blog at times - so when I saw your necklaces, I started grinning from ear to ear! I'm glad you're sharing your Barbie jewelry with others, I just hoard mine for my Barbie (she's so spoiled!!). What a fabulous way to brighten a little girls day - and Barbie's day, too!! ;-)
