Egyptian Coil and Jump Ring Bracelet

Egyptian Coil and Jump Ring Bracelet

Egyptian Coil and Jump Ring Bracelet

This is another variation on the basic Egyptian coil. I inserted handmade jump rings through the center of each coil so that it would hold together better.

I had used 18 Gauge wire and it didn't seem strong or substantial enough to keep the coils from spreading out so I added the jump rings.

It worked out better than I expected and gave the bracelet a different look.

It was definitely tedious and though I don't expect to make another one, this bracelet does get a lot of attention.

Coils and jump rings

Lovely, Zoraida!

First, I have to comment on your lovely figure-8 clasp end. It's shaped utterly perfectly, as far as my eyes can tell.

The jump rings are a great idea to help the coils keep their shape.

Very nice work!

Outstanding!

Thank you Rena, Diane and Selma for your encouraging comments. I've become addicted to feedback like this especially when I feel like I'm going nowhere.

Exposure and selling online is very new to me and learning to blog is almost torture. This site is a great help to me.

Now if only I could set up my artfire site without constant bumbling.

Best to You!

Sending 'best wishes' as you get your shop going. Online selling is tough work but yet so fulfilling when we make sales ^_^

I'll check you out on artfire. I'm on etsy and it's going ok but I'd rather drive traffic to my own website. I'm working on it.....^_^
