Fire Agate & Jade Necklace

The cab in this necklace is one that I had purchased at the recent
gem & mineral show I participated in. I wanted to really showcase it.

I decided to combine it with a simple strand of beads of a contrasting color. I finally chose the pale green jade beads because their color is so soft and wouldn't compete with the fire agate.

Never one to leave well enough alone, I designed the "hanger" and added another fire agate bead to the pendant. I fussed with this until I was happy with the design.

The cab is wrapped in 18 gauge round wire because I'm so bad at using square wire. The hanger is 16g copper wire.
