Franklin & Jade

Turtle and Jade

Turtle and Jade

This bracelet is made with a cute little ceramic turtle that I named after a cartoon character. I also used jade, freshwater pearls, green colored shells and 18k gold plated spacers and findings.

I had another turtle just like this one, but I used turquoise with the other one. I had these little turtles for the longest time in my supply box and just couldn't seem to think up a design to make something with them.

Then one evening, the night before a show I was doing the next morning, I realized I had barely any bracelets to sell.

Let me tell you I thought up this design in no time, and put together two nice little turtle bracelets.

Well I think they are nice (as you can see, they didn't sell) but anyway sometimes I can whip up something in no time, but some projects I can't seem to get them finished.

I love my little turtle bracelets, and I get compliments on them when I wear them.

Franklin all dressed up

I well remember Franklin - and it's nice to see him stylin' here on your bracelet! :o)

This piece would be treasured by anyone who collects turtle-themed things (there are a surprising number of folks who do!), and also by people who love jade.

Once the right person sees Franklin in Jade, this bracelet will sell quickly - if it hasn't already!

Thank you for sharing this piece with us, Margaret!
