Fringe Jean and Stone Necklace

I have been exploring new techniques in using blue jean material to make jewelry. Well, I think I am on the right track.

First I decided to start with bracelets but then was inspired to do necklaces. So I decided to gather some old blue jeans and do a little tie dying to experiment with colors.

Next I cut out what I really liked and begin to fringe the material into shape. I have created earrings, bracelets and outlined polished stones with it.

I have gained a few fans and thought I would share this with you. A great way to recreate and recycle too!

Hope you like it! Please check out my shop and see some of my other jean fringe creations!

Love your idea! checked out your shop to see the back of the piece and you didn't post any photos of the back. I'd love to see the back. Added you to my circle too. Nice shop.

Janice, this is really cool! I love your innovation of using jeans as a jewelry component. It really gives a lot of character and originality to the pendant.

I would imagine that fans of country-western and southwestern styles would love your jean jewelry line!

Thanks for sharing this creative necklace with us.
