Linda Stewart's full color spectrum necklace in beads she fired

I fire lampworked dichroic beads and make jewelry.

I went through my hanks of beads (I keep each colour of bead separate) and decided to make a triple strand necklace that spanned the full spectrum with the colours transitioning into each other.

I had plenty of "stock", so I was able to fussy pick through my beads. This is the result of my "endeavor".....

Handmade rainbow
by: Rena

Linda, your rainbow spectrum effect is just stunning. Each color fades into the next beautifully.

The triple-strand design is a wonderful way to really showcase the color spectrum in this piece. I'm sure it took hours to pick the right bead for each spot. This necklace must be incredible in person.

Such a wonderful necklace. I love all the colors and the way you put them together. This necklace is a stunning eyecatcher.

the full spectrum

I like the brightness and individual size of the beads to add interest. The necklace is an excercise in cleverly placing the colours. I love it. I looked at your site and will come back in the new year.

Showpiece

This is a perfect showpiece to represent your work. I LOVE dichroic glass. It would be great to see a closeup of the rainbow beads!

I have bookmarked your website, your fractals are incredible as well.
