Pretty Red Bells
There really isn't much to say about a technique used to make these earrings.
The largest amount of time was spent trying to find something fun and well made, which these are. The enameling is detailed and wonderful and the backs are silver plated and finished nicely.
My big decision revolved around just adding ear wires or a little something else to dress them up. I chose the "little something else."
I wanted to create something that would include materials. labor, shipping and packaging for $9.00.
I think subliminally $9.00 works better then $10.00. What do you all think? There's a nice selection of 7 different fun styles available.
Since I have finally set up my 5 year old printer (yes it still works!) I have been printing cards to package my earrings in.
At first I started with the regular earring card...and then I thought to take it a step further and create a card that can accommodate different types of information.
I've posted my earring cards that tell a story separately so you all can see what I'm doing.
So far everyone seems to like this... but for now... Ho! Ho! Ho!
I plan on using the proceeds of the sales of these earrings to provide earrings for women in a domestic violence shelter.
