Hello, I have only been making jewelry for around three years now, and working with wire only a couple years. I love working with copper, and have starting making all my own jump-rings
so I can make my own chains.
I wanted to try something different. So I started out by forming a two layered double loop with my round nose pliers, then I wrapped wire around the middle of my link. Then I cut some more wire from 18 gauges and formed a loop on each end. Then connected it all together.I made my hook clasp out of 16 gauge. Everything was hammered for strength.
My pendant was made from a glass tile with aged sheet music on the back, (that I aged myself). Three coats of mod podge. My pendant hangs on my handmade chain from my hand formed bail, with
a gold pearl and key & lock charm that hang over the pendant.
My picture was taken with my scanner after I read through the photo tips section. I decided to try it, because I am a terrible picture taker. So please tell me what you think.
Linda
