Goddess Necklace

Goddess necklace with wire-weaving in copper, turquoise and coral

I was just sketchng various pendant designs and thought I'd like to try something a little different - for me.

I had never tried weaving with wire and thought I'd try just a little, in an Egyptian inspired style. It sort of took off on its own from there.

The chain was created simply, meant to be basically functional.

I wrapped the jump ring to disguise the flaws. I'm so bad at creating nice, smooth jump rings.

Turquoise and Coral beads were added to the otherwise plain chain and the spirals at the end are meant to be used as extenders.

I'll need a lot more practice with weaving.

You did a great job on this one. I love the colors and the pendant is very different and that's what is so cool about it. And I love the colors too. Copper is starting to be a favorite with me. I love it.

Very cool

Your copper wire experiments are always amazing, Zoraida! The way the beads and wirework are combined here, especially in the pendant, is stunning.

Love the handmade chain and clasp - they're just right with the pendant element.

These three colors - copper, turquoise, coral - are absolutely perfect together in this piece. And I think the wrapping on the jumpring enhances the piece.

Thanks so much for sharing your gorgeous creations with us!
