14Kt Gold Wrapped Jasper Pendant

I used 18ga, round, dead soft, 14kt Gold filled wire to do the wrap. I incorporated the design into the bail.

My wife and I were sitting at the Farmer's Market and I just completed my second or third wrap ever. They were fairly simple.

Then I wanted to explore into the curves and circles and this is what happened.

Wire Wrapped Jasper Pendant

Isn't amazing what you can do with a small piece of wire and an unusual stone? One of my all-time best selling jewelry lines is made quite simply from a front-drilled stone / bead / shell / coin / etc. and a piece of wire less than 6 inches (15 cm) long to create a pendant.

Projects like this are great to work on if you have time at a show, and people will often stop to see you creating with wire!

Oh yea, and they sell quickly. I am waiting until April for our first show since a week before last Thanksgiving and then we have 3 shows in May and every Saturday in June thru the 2nd week in October, with one big show in Sept.
