Golden Dragon Bracelet in Crochet!

Golden Dragon

In a recent edition of a popular magazine I saw a bracelet in there I really liked. The problem was that no matter how many times I tried to weave it using the directions and technique in the magazine I could not get it to work.

I have been doing bead crochet for some time so I thought perhaps I could come up with a pattern with the same beads and a similar look.

I used #8 beads for underneath, the part that sits on the wrist and the Magatama beads for the top so it is comfortable to wear and gives the impression of Dragon scales.

You're a genius. I also tried this bracelet and realized I hated the stitch that was originally used. May I ask what stitch you used.

Looking at your gallery, I admire the colors and materials you use. Such creativity and vision, wow. You have managed to make this new bead look like an antique just with the use of color and findings. It is yummy. B
