Golden Spring

Handmade hollow glass beads embellished with gold leaf. They remind me of miniature worlds. Accents are peridot.

I like the beads and gold leafing. I would not have thought of miniature worlds but that does certainly describe them.

I make all of my own beads. These are hollow, handblown on a "puffy" mandrel. I roll the bead in gold leaf after it is shaped, then bring it back into the flame to lightly melt in the gold leaf.
