Green Swirls Bracelet

My favorite jewelry technique is chain maille. The finished piece always looks so professional.

This piece is actually sold but the design can be adapted. The chain maille part is the parallel weave, often called Helm. The accents are green swirled rectangles.

I teach chain maille at a local bead store and one of the best feelings is when the student "gets it."

We have an on going joke with this weave as it starts going one way and ends up looking very different. The student commented when things turned out right "TA DA!" She did it!

Beautiful chain work!
by: Rena

Lovely chain maille, Bev - and the angular green beads are a nice contrast to the round rings.

You're right, it's fun watching someone's face light up when a challenging new skill suddenly falls into place! Once it clicks in the brain, the hands have no trouble doing the work.

Thanks for sharing your lovely chain maille bracelet.
