Hammered and Domed Brass Disc with Tulips

by Cheryl Marsenich
(St George,Utah,USA)

This necklace started out as a blank brass stamping disc. I embossed it with a flower print then hammered it and use my dapping block to give it a concave s shape. Then I used alcohol ink to color it and then sealed and buffed it.

Your hammered disk is beautiful! I love the design on it, the color and the dome you've created.

It looks great on the chain too. Nice work!!

Beautifully done! I love the ink coloring, and how well you matched the beads to the colors on the domed disc.

Thank you for sharing this lovely creation with us!

I'm now going to find out where I can buy some alcohol inks. This is so vibrant. Lovely.
