This is another pair of earrings I made utilizing a leftover section of copper sheet.
The sheet was folded, cut into this heart shape and formed into what I thought looked like a leaf. A little pounding with a chasing hammer helped to stiffen and work harden them as well as the constant work on the leaf details.
I used a hole puncher and 20 gauge wire for the tendril/earwire which is all one piece. Finally I oxidized, brushed with fine steel wool and a brass brush, polished with a jewelry cloth, and sealed the earrings.
This was actually a lot of fun. I'm loving it!
