Help - How to Give Gold-Plated Jewelry an Antique Finish?

I am looking for a product that gives an antique finish to my gold plated jewelry.

My plater used to do it but he is out of business now. Plus I have alot, so I want to do it myself.

But I don't know what product to use that will NOT TAKE OFF THE GOLD PLATING. Most of the metal is a base metal underneath the 18 gold plating.

Any ideas about this?
