ICIEST - Jewels2LiveBy Rock quartz nuggets accented by 14k gold fill

I saw these rough Rock Quartz stones and the name Iciest popped into my head. Putting me in mind of ice cubes.

I made this two strand necklace by wire wrapping the stones together with 14kt Gold Fill wire to make it a bit lighter and added some handmade S links to make it smoother on the back of the neck.

It is a big bold statement necklace for sure.

Would love to hear some thoughts.

Ice and Magic

It's dramatic, rugged, and yet delicate. I love your style of letting bold stones take center stage - in a design that doesn't compete with the stones themselves.

Great touch to have the smooth, handmade links against the neck for increased comfort - plus they are a lovely accent.

love it

I absolutely ? this necklace. It's big, bold and daring. I can see me wearing it with a simple black shirt!

Great Necklace!

I'm a huge fan of Rock Crystal, the closer to its' natural state, the better. This is the perfect stage - not too refined, not too rough. The simple treatment suites it beautifully. Definetely bold and natural looking. Love it.

soooo natural....

Love to chunks of natural stone which are polished to see their beauty yet not so over-faceted that it's more machine than nature showing through. Good job. I would love to know where to get a great selection of beads that have this rugged, beautiful and ethereal look all in one. If anyone knows some good sources, please let me know.
Great job on the jewelry!
