Jade & Aquamarine Birds Nest Necklace

I recently taught a class of rock hounds how to make a birds nest pendant. These people could cut cabs from rough and do all sorts of wonderful lapidary work but not experienced with wire work.

They were so enthusiastic and eager to make these simple little nests that I was inspired to make another piece of jewelry with this theme. So here is my birds nest revisited.
