Java Jewelry-- Shades of red dangle necklace

by Lois Nelson
(Arlington Heights, IL, USA)

I created the focal bead of this dangle necklace by kneading together red, black and silver metallic polymer clay to create a marble effect. The rest of the beads are recycled from other pieces.

I call all my pieces "java jewelry" because I knead a bit of fair trade coffee into the clay I use. My goal is to create conversation pieces that will help raise awareness about the importance of buying fair trade.

Great necklace

I love dangle necklaces. This is great, great use of colors, not too much in the dangles. This could be a very versatile piece.

I love your use of fair trade coffee to make your java jewelry line unique, and to make it meaningful. Beautiful necklace!

Thanks
