King's Ransom

by Joan Williams

I really love to create pieces with a faraway, antique look! I had this Ethiopian brass cross and wanted to make something reminiscent of ancient royalty - when I found these peacock blue czech glass beads I thought they'd be a good match along with some antiqued brass accent beads.

You should design jewels for . . .

. . . historical movies!

I seriously love your long-ago, faraway pieces and I think your work would add a richness and authenticity to historical / fantasy films.

Of course, the actors would all want to keep your pieces that they wore in the film! :o)

Keep up the wonderful work with your creations of antiquity!

I can definitely see this draped over Henry VIII's heavy clothing as he stands for a royal portrait.

Hmmm... I do happen to live in Brad Pitt's hometown - unfortunately we don't happen to run in the same circles! What a cool idea, though - thank you for such a nice comment!

O-o-o-o, I love this! The turquoise color and the brass look so rich together.
