Kisses Charm Necklace

A feel-good, handmade romantic charm necklace has a copper word plate with "Kisses" etched on it.

Hanging with it is a brass locket and a tiny dusty rose colored paper rose.

Attached a little ways up the antiqued copper chain is a Rhodonite gemstone bead.

It fastens at the back with a lobster clasp and the length of the chain is 24". The pendant is 1 1/2".

The necklace is so feminine and fresh for spring. Could you comment on the paper rose, please? Did you make this ?
It's a perfect compliment to the color in the stone or vice versa.

Hi Lynda,
Thanks so much for the kind comments. I actually found the little bunch of roses at a craft store. It is approx 1/2" inch and has a green wire at the back which I rolled up to form a loop for hanging. I fell in love with it because it is so realistic and the color blends well.

What a romantic inspiration you give with this dainty necklace. Plus, then picture it with a old world's map to give it even more charm. Simple, yet elegant. Awesome. Holly you inspire me. Sometimes I think too hard in my designs, to remember simple is usually best. Or it at least looks simple. Good Job.

Simple and elegant. You have inspired me to remember simple design captures couples when in love and the guys don't know what to get, this would be it. Love the paper rose and the industrial tag. I will have to check out Michael's collection to see if they can do anything for my designs.

Hi again,
Yes, sometimes simple is best. I just start creating and often it ends up way different than what I envisioned. Sometimes I get what I call "shower moments" where an idea just comes to me out of the blue. This is my second job, my therapy but my first love. I find it so theraputic to just sit at my table and bead. I would love to do this full time....sigh...some day once kids are done with college!!
I love your designs, and that pink calla lily necklace is gorgeous. I have a friend who is a polymer clay artist...something I have not learned to do.
