Koroit opal pendant

by Rochelle Hughes

OK, so this is my first try at this technique, I know it is a little wanky, but the next one will be way better. This particular pendent took me a bit to figure it out. I have to admit that I have never taken a class in jewelry making, I just sort of know intuitively how things are put together.

Please feel free to critique my work, I need input so I can continue to improve my work, thank you in advance.

I used a Koroit opal for the center stone, 16ga. 26ga, sterling silver, 3mm sterling silver balls

Beautiful!

I love the stone and the way you've suspended it in the wire.

Wanky = NOT

If this is "Wanky," I cannot wait to see your UNWanky! Seriously - this piece is SPECTACULAR! Well done - thank you for sharing it - AGAIN, I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE YOUR UPDATED VERSION/S! Thank you ;0)

Thanks!

Thanks for the comments!
I'm quite critical of my work, and with this pendent my abilities were somewhat stretched. I used the term wanky because it looks to me like the stone is a bit lopsided. I really appreciate your opinion, it really helps me get better at weaving wire and overall design.
