lady blue

by Emma Crawford
(Lagrangeville, NY)

Pressed blue hydrangeas, leaf, queen anne's lace and gold leaf sandwiched between glass, copper foiled and soldered. Strung on pearls and glass beads.

I live in the Hudson River Valley in New York State and gather and press my own flowers in the spring and summer using old telephone books.

I use Silver Gleem solder for these OOAK botanical focal pieces. Pieces are different on each side so can be worn both ways.

Botanical beauty

Absolutely lovely, Emma! What a wonderful way to preserve Spring and Summer's gorgeous flowers. Also neat that the pendant is reversible!

Thanks for sharing this beautiful idea for Nature-themed jewelry.
