A place of deep satisfaction

I learned this technique (circular right angle weave) in a class recently and just fell in love with it.

There is something so soothing about stitching a necklace bead by bead. I can't really describe in words the joy and satisfaction I get from it.

When I stringing beads, I am so impatient to get to the end. With beadweaving, I find I am totally mezmerized with the process.

Beautiful and glamorous

Gorgeous design - love all the details you worked into it, even to the bead-stitched connectors between the larger components.

Also neat earrings to go with the necklace! A glamorous jewelry set worthy of the red carpet at a Hollywood awards event!

Confession

The details were all learned in class. What made it my own was choosing the beads and color combinations. I chose three differnt beads and shades to give the necklace some depth. There's light grey pearls, hematite, and onyx and of course the metallic seed beads. So, there, now I have fessed up. The real genius is Lisa Norris, who instructed the class. She teaches at Star's beads in Vienna, VA if anyone is interested. Highly recommend any of her classes - in fact highly recommend taking any class at Star's.
