I love Lapiz, but who doesn't. At a Beadfest, here on Long Island in NY, I recently purchased two delicious strands of great quality Lapiz beads.
I almost didn't want to use them. I might lose them if I sold the piece. How ridiculous is that? I had already bought some pendants of Lapiz at another Gem & Mineral show and was hoarding those too.
I finally caved in an made this necklace using copper infinity-like links and jump rings. The links, rings, clasp and the thing that holds the pendant (which is brass and I don't know what it's called) were all made by hand.
I have to admit, I really like they way this necklace turned out.
