The Love Pendant

This is my first attempt at writing with wire.

When the fair comes to town, there is always a booth with someone who will make a pendant or a pin with your name in wire. I would love to be able to write with wire the way they do.

That is definitely what you would call personalized jewelry!

Anyway, the sad thing is, my 16 year old son can't write this well with a pencil!!!

I would love to here from someone who has learned the technique or writing with wire and get some tips.

I was going to call this piece "The Circle of Love" but, it's more of an oval, lol.

Wire writing pendant

Great first experiment with writing in wire. Is it square wire? If so, I would imagine that's even more challenging than round wire for writing.

I know what you mean about kids not writing as well these days - in fact, where we live, the schools don't really teach cursive writing anymore, so many people here who are under the age of 20 also can't read cursive very well either.

Anyway, I think this pendant was a great first wire writing effort!
