Lucky Dutch Dime Necklace

I have saved a few coins when the euro replaced our guilder currency.

I've made a little dime -dubbeltje- from 1974 into a pendant by adding a sterling silver ring. A pearl charm and a hematite faceted bead make a great ensemble. It dangles from an oxidized chain and I really like the contrast.

The necklace closes with a lobster clasp and the ends are wire wrapped for extra security. Also with small hematite tubes to match.

Length; 52 cm / 20,5 inch

All silver used is sterling.

I really love your coin pedant, don't suppose you would be willing to share your technique for applying the silver ring around the coin? I have some Mexican Peso's that would look great as a pendant. Thanks, Heidi
