Left: Jewelry end cap, handmade using Peyote stitch and Delica beads. Right: A bead croched necklace I made using these endcaps.
Gold and silver prices are soaring out of control and some of my suppliers have actually stopped selling gold-filled cones and end caps which forced me to sit down and design my own at last.
I had been thinking about it for quite some time but when an order came in from a boutique who wanted no plated metals on her pieces I was forced to get to it.
These end caps are worked in circular Peyote Stitch in Delica beads. I have not tried them yet with round seed beads but plan to soon.
I thought I would share this here because if I am having this problem there must be others out there too.
The full instructions for making your own end caps can be found free on my blog: How to Make Beaded End Caps.
