Conch claw jewelry
When my son visited Belize he showed his Grandmother some pictures of my jewelry. As a challenge for me to create, she sent back some unfinished conch claws which were truly a scary site at first glance.
This piece is made out beveled shaped glass, seed beads and the claws of many conch (which I cleaned and polyurethaned which shows the glossy appearance).
The meat of the conch is very popular in Caribbean restaurants.
On the internet I have seen several ways that the conch shell has been made into jewelry but nothing with the claws. (So if you find something let me know).
After prayer this was the outcome! Again I hope you enjoy it!
