Mixed Metal Chain Maille Bracelet

Copper Rose Bracelet

My business partner, Pam Barrett, and I really love making sterling silver Chain Maille. However, as most of you know, sterling is getting very expensive.

So, we added some copper rings to this (and other) bracelet. Now, not only did we save some money but we really like the design. Adds some "interest" to the design.

Silver and copper chain maille

I think the copper really adds to the piece - it's a very attractive mixed-metal look. I also like the additional contrast of the twisted texture of the copper.

Lisa, thanks for your kind comments. Everyone has some skill that others think is hard. Seed beads drive me nuts but the chain maille not so much. I love the results so I think taking the time is worth it.
