Modern Twist Necklace

I still love making jewelry with sea glass I have found, but now I am also creating designs with Swarovski crystals and gems like jade, pearls, and chalcedony. It is fun to combine the sea glass with these, too. This piece evolved as I worked on the 14K gold filled wire.

Where to start. The gems are all wonderful but what is really cool is all the twists and turns of the necklace. Glad that the piece evolved to its current state.

Thanks. It was a very liberating experience, and now I have played with sterling silver wire and even added sea glass in with the gems!

I used 20 gauge gold filled wire. I wouldn't use anything smaller -- it would be too flimsy, I think. I have also made designs with sterling silver, similar gauge. Check out my website - www.luckyseaglass.com
