This beautiful Mexican lace agate is set in PMC and the chainmaille is woven from Argentium Sterling rings and 18KT gold-filled rings.

Thanks so much, Angie. I simply loved that stone and the piece went together almost by itself. Mixed metal chainmaille is so very beautiful and I am always pleased when a piece lends itself to more than one metal.

I love how wonderfully all of the metalwork brings out the subtle markings in the stone. The chain's colors and the texture of the cabochon's setting both echo the stone beautifully.

What a beautiful stone! To bad it can't be duplicated, but then it would not be so unusual. I love the use of muti metalsin the chain and a really nice setting of PMC. Thats a mediumn I havent looked into yet.

Your combination of the 2 tone chain Maille with the colors in the stone go perfectly. The style is reminiscent of a victorian cameo necklace just bumped up a notch.
